What is the best fuel for 2CV6 1983?
98 Octane? Let me know
Thank you in advance.Francois
I always try to use the highest octane possible, and usually go for the BP Ultimate.
Since you hardly use any petrol, the extra cents hardly matter; and nothing but the best for my baby 🙂
I do not use any additives.

The later 2CV handbook specifies 98 octane fuel. For us in Australia that means premium unleaded. It needs everything going for it that it can get! I’m told you can get pinging under load with lower octane fuels.
Premium unleaded was the universal choice of all raiders on both raids last year.
Thank you both of you John. hope to see you soon
