    On May 1 18 Citroen 2CV’s started from Northern Tasmania with 27 passengers aboard for the Australian Raid 2012. Tackling the treacherous mountain roads through mud and snow, camping outside in frost and rain the unique convoy determinedly made it up the East Coast.
    And after more than 3500 kilometers of adventure and one long months of friendship bonding the raiders gladly reached their final destination in Byron Bay on June 1.
    Worn but proud the international participants shared a fine lunch at the French restaurant before taking fare-well from each other – but already excitingly planing their next raids to Birdsville and Broom . . .

    Thanks Ame for putting up the pics.
    We now have pics from the beginning and the end of the raid.
    Now we only need some photos from the raiders from the month in between!

    thanks bob and everyone else for a fantastic raid, the roads and scenery was incredible, went to a few places i never knew existed, some of the roads were as challenging as any in the outback, the weather was cold at times but we had mostly fine days with little rain,
