Hi
I’m new to the 2CV world in Australia. I have just discovered that there actually are Dyanes and Ami’s here.
I really like these cars.
Can any one give me an idea how rare they are and a ball park figure of how much a good driveable car is worth?
Are they very noisy at 100km/h?
Dyanes and Ami’s are quite rare indeed.
I would think they are worth anywhere between 10 and 20K, it would really depend on the condition.
They would not be quiet if you get them to go to a 100km/h 🙂
Hi
I have a 64 Ami 6 sedan. Very quiet little car, lovely on the road. A good one can easily be $25,000 due to it rarity. Have you seen a Bijou, I have a 1961 only a few in Australia last one I saw sold for $53,000 in England.

Ami does 100km/hr + with ease. Bijou 80km/hr on a day with no wind, 65 up a hill and 85 going down. 🙂 if the hill is not too big otherwise 40. But one should not be in a hurry driving it
That’s the first ever Bijou I have seen in Australia. They were an English oddity only, weren’t they?
Its the only registered one in Australia. Only 217 were built in Slough as the factory was closing down. Few survive today. Hand made fibreglass, the vision was a small ID19 Coupe type body. It is a charming car
