Hi TB
Most reckon there are a few hundred around the place, and there are definitely a few round Adelaide.
Regarding price I think you’re pretty close to the mark.
PetitePoupee and Colin C are from Adelaide:

Are you saying the photo you linked to is a photo of this car? And what are we looking for?
JohnKeymasterGood to find out a bit more about Raid Australia 2012, albeit in a roundabout way. 🙂
Now I lived both in Europe (a long time ago) and Tassie, and April in Tassie is really cool (although I mean cold but I don’t want to offend any Taswegians). So at least cars will not overheat, but might be hard to start in the morning!
From a point of view of somebody who has not raided before and very likely will join Raid 2012, I (and I am sure a lot of others) would really appreciate that any planning would be more accessible.
It would be even great to have input where possible, and I stress where possible because too many cooks usually spoil the broth.
Often planning a holiday, or at least have some involvement or at least knowledge, is as much fun as the holiday itself.I don’t really want to be in the position to choose between 3 events, a Tassie raid, a WA cit-in and a northern raid. 😉
So maybe we should first find out when Raid 2012 will be, and if any input is still possible, before planning any other raid.JohnKeymasterYou can use http://translate.google.com/ if you like.
If you install the Google toolbar, you can translate any site in a few clicks: http://www.google.com/toolbar/ff/index.htmlJohnKeymasterI guess you maybe mean this page: ……….
That might be a good idea to copy / start something similar here. What do you think?
JohnKeymasterNot sure what you mean, everybody has access to the AussieFrogs forum, but even if you are registered you cannot see the members list.
The only people with that privilege would be the administrators and maybe some of the moderators there.JohnKeymasterHi Jorge
Where and when do you think you will be arriving?
And where do you think you’ll be going?
We might be able to get a few 2CVers together in Brisbane to catch up with you.Cheers
JohnKeymasterHi Vlatko
It looks like you got some work ahead!
Good luck with your restoration project.JohnKeymaster@2CViking 101 wrote:
