The Citroen Car Club of Queensland is organising a drive to Pomona, north of Eumundi near Noosa, on Sunday 22 June 2014, and it sounds like a good excuse to go for a drive. More details here, but these are the highlights:
- Majestic Theatre in Pomona to see a silent movie at 10.30 SHARP
- This theatre is the oldest and last of its kind to show silent movies ans is very famous.
- You will probably see a vintage car chase with Buster Keaton.
- After the movie, lunch in Noosaville.
- Gympie Terrace is a lovely spot by the river with plenty of restaurants and cafes.
- Lunch will be at the Rose Room High Tea cafe where prices are reasonable.

Can the 2CV Pomona trippers please meet at 7.30am at the last servo on Gympie road before you hit the Bruce Highway.
