Hi there, I’m a lover of the 2CV and come from a family of 2CV enthusiasts. I’m looking for a workshop which specialises in 2CV and other classic and vintage French cars, as I want to do an apprenticeship and specialise in this area. I have hunted all over the web and only found one workshop in Australia which sort of fits the bill, Paris Motors in Melbourne. Are there others that I might have missed? I figure a club like this is the best place to ask, as there’s a lot of knowledge among club members. Ideally I’d like to find a place in NSW or southern Queensland, but I am prepared to relocate anywhere in Australia if I find a suitable workshop and they’re willing to take me on as an apprentice. Thanking you in advance for any pointers you can give me!
Hi Carl, you could try EuroServe maybe, they look after quire a few 2CVs in Brisbane: https://www.euroserveauto.com.au/
Good luck 🙂
Hello Carl, I know it is far away, you can help us in the Netherlands with the Le Patron we learn you everything about it, you only need passion, i think you have. When you like it you are going to sell it in Australia and we will supply you the parts. https://lepatron.nl/en/ We also do original 2cv and other cars and sometimes a motorbike.
When it is to far away for you good luck at your new job.
