An owner of a 2CV for sale has sent me these 2 photos of what I think is a suspension mount assembly under the car. The first photo shows 2 holes. Obviously the hole on the right is a perforation caused by corrosion. But what about the hole immediately above it to the left? Is it a part that has corroded away? Or is some grease or grunge making a good part look dodgy? The second photo shows the other half of the assembly. I can’t yet personally inspect it because the car is on the the other side of the country. Any advice welcome as to whether an immediate repair may be needed. Thanks 🙂
