Arthur is looking for a registered 2CV [as a present for his wife – but don’t tell anyone 🙂 ]
He lives near Toowoomba so if you know of any 2CVs in pretty good condition (a bit of cosmetics is no problem), please reply here.
Thanks
If you are still looking for a Queensland car I have my 1981 Dyane 6 a 2CV derivative for sale. It is located in Gayndah. Its currently fully registered until May and is driven regularly on country jaunts of 200 km . ( drove it back from Victoria in 2013 where I had been based for 5 years). I have had it since i brought it in Sydney around 2001 and did it up , cut out rust, gear box replacement, new wheels, electronic ignition, rebuild seats & fitted headrests and a demountable child seat restraint, rear hatch door replaced and painted. Hood in good condition. Paint faded most panels, still draws attention and looks good. Will have a new RWC for sale. Spare parts & Manuals. Pics are on carsales. I have it for sale at its insured value but I am open to any reasonable offers as I am not using it enough and am getting less able to afford it. I would qualify for club registration
