Hi everyone on the 2CV forum, I’m a newbie. Just wondering if I qualify to be a member (maybe special category) and go on raids, runs, shows etc. I have a 1979 2CV converted to a 3 wheeler. It’s fitted with a Lomax body. The body shape is similar to early Morgan 3 wheeler. Has standard 2CV running gear.
I bought the car last year when In the US at one of the auctions held at pebble beach during the concours de elegance. Nobody wanted to bid on it so I dived in and picked it up. Landed in OZ around November last year and only just got it fully registered on the road a week or so ago. Littlebluecar (LBC) got stuck up on a mezzanine floor during the Brisbane floods so this slowed up the rego preparation a bit.
I live in The Gap in Brisbane and are looking forward to being an active member of the forum and club if you accommodate cute but oddball 2CV’s.
Hopefully I’ve added a link to a pic of the car from the auction when I bought it. Only change is now LBC has a rollbar and side exhaust cover to comply with rego requirements. I’m OS at moment and will post more pics when I get back.
Tony.
Welcome, Little Blue Car (and Tony :)).
