Everybody is invited to chug along to Le Petit Snail at Byron Bay on Friday 7 December 2012 for a bit of Xmas cheer.
Igor of the Petit Snail would love to see us all again after looking after the raiders in June.Friday 7 December:
Igor will do a set menu with two choices for entree, two choices for main and two choices for dessert for $50 per person, so you’d have a 3 course superdeluxe French meal for $50.Earlier I asked everybody whether we should go on Friday or Saturday, and some people voted (see above) and others emailed me, and the majority voted for Friday.
I need definite numbers by 15 November, so reply ASAP, s’il vous plait!
So far I have confirmation from the following 2CV-ers:
Going Friday and returning Sunday
– Yvette and Bruce
– Karin and Lindsay
– Helen and Col
– Dianne and Brian
– Lyn and Leigh
Going Friday and returning Saturday
– Caroline and John
– Cheryl and Ian
Also joining us are …
– Teresa and Martin
– Ame
– Jo and JustineLink to the petit snail restaurant
Any questions, just ask …

4 Nov 2012 at 10:10 am #821JohnKeymasterTeresa & Martin of Federal suggest that maybe the First Sun caravan park (in town’s centre) or Clark’s Beach caravan park (about 15 mins walking distance to town = the more beautiful of the two) would be suitable to stay at.
Teresa & Martin’s place in Federal is 20 mins behind Byron and they have some camping available as well; you would need to set up before dinner. Contact me if you’d like their contact details and I can pass their phone number on.
They also invite any of the 2CV-ers for a visit any time over the weekend; the offer is very open to have the club come for coffee & cake (home made). Their sloping lawn would be a great place for a photo as we a on a hill with the coast in the background.
Martin also suggests a drive to Minyon Falls about 45 minutes west from Byron Bay on the Saturday which he can lead (but not a good idea if it would be raining).
