I have decided to sell my 2cv, it must be the most original ripple bonnet model in existence, never been in the rain and no rust. Has minor panel dents in places, the sunroof was replaced after the original was blown off by a passing truck. Brand new michelens and rebuilt engine about 1000kms ago. All new brake fluids and engine gearbox oils replaced. Has 10 months registration in NSW, it is a treat to drive but completely unsuitable for where I live which is very hilly country. Does come with a box of bits abd pieces and documetation
Grey in colour, you can see a photo of her on my facebook, “oldconventcobargo”.
$15000 and absolutely NOT negotiable. Car is at Cobargo, Bega Valley, NSW.
Please call for further informaion

Still, I guess any vehicle choice has to be made in context with the topography wherewithin it will be utilised …

Oh well, there’s always the Jensen to fall back on……31 Mar 2012 at 9:21 pm #760AnonymousInactiveThere is another option that I am considering, that is to take out the original engine and gearbox and replace it with a later model larger capacity engine and transmission, that could address the issue. Not sure what or where to get the replacement and whether there are any issues or not with doing that. Also the cost factor. At least that way someone in the future could return it to original. I have it on Ebay, if no buyers will look at that conversion, any ideas?
